Renegades of Gumbo

Renegades of Gumbo was my final project at university, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of four. Together, we combined our individual strengths to bring the concept of a location-based mobile game to life. The game’s goal was to encourage young people to play collaboratively through a unique blend of augmented reality and outdoor exploration. It quickly became my favorite project to date, as we carefully crafted every aspect of the game—from the mechanics to the immersive storyline.

Working as a cohesive team, we developed not just a concept but a fully realized, engaging game. Every detail, from gameplay progression to character design, was meticulously planned and executed to ensure the mechanics were both fun and functional. This project marked the culmination of my university journey, and the experience of building a game from the ground up was incredibly rewarding.
